Attorney David P. Miraldi chose the legal profession based on the example of his father, Ray L. Miraldi, a well-known and respected trial attorney in Lorain County for many years. David graduated from The College of Wooster where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In 1978, he graduated summa cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Law where he published several articles in the Ohio State Law Journal.
Since then, David has been a member of Miraldi & Barrett where his practice includes not only negligence, product liability, and medical claims but litigation of insurance coverage disputes, employment termination claims, and insurance bad faith claims. He is a member and past president of the Lorain County Bar Association and has served on many bar association committees and lectured on a variety of topics. David is a member of The Ohio State Bar Association, The Cleveland Academy of Trial Lawyers, The Ohio Association for Justice, and The Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association.
For many years, David has received the highest rating (AV) from Martindale-Hubbel, a company that bases its evaluations upon peer reviews. David has also been honored as an Ohio Super Lawyer in the practice area of plaintiff personal injury law. The Ohio Super Lawyer designation is limited to those attorneys considered to be in the top five percent in their practice field.
In addition to the responsibilities of his law practice, David has been active in church, school, and other community projects. David's hobbies include tennis, bicycling, and photography. David and his wife, Leslee, an attorney practicing in Cleveland, reside in Avon, Ohio and have three children.
"David is so professional and on time with everything. He kept me informed as to what was being done at all times. Also Carrie was always available and would get back in a reasonable amount of time. I was so satisfied with this firm that I have referred two other people to this firm."—Gene T.
Dave, I would like to thank you for handling my case. I appreciate your continued efforts and dealings with all the insurance people involved. Also a special thank you to Rene for handling the details on a day to day basis and keeping me informed of necessary information. It was a pleasure to work with both of you. We could not have gotten to this point without your law firm. You gave me the opportunity to get well insteady of worrying myself sick and fighting with everybody, from hospitals to insurance companies, about what I owed. Thanks again. Ted S. of South Amherst, Ohio.
David, Thank you so much from Sandra and myself. You and your staff made a very bad situation for me and my family comfortable and even pleasant. Brad did an outstanding job and was an absolute pleasure to work with. You have my deepest gratitude. Tim T. of Wakeman, Ohio.

The 17 year old driver whose car struck my car had been involved in an auto accident just three months before. Are his parent's responsible for my injuries, too?
Can juries award as much money as they think appropriate in serious automobile or truck crashes?
I signed a release with the insurance company several weeks agao and now just discovered that I will need surgery for a herniated disc in my neck. Can I re-open the claim?
