DEATH - $750,000 Settlement for Family of Bicyclist

Miraldi and Barrett recovered $750,000 for the family of a 60 year old man who was killed while riding a bicycle. The bicyclist was not a U.S. citizen and at the time of the bicycle-motor vehicle accident was visiting his adult daughter who was a U.S. citizen. The man was not wearing a helmet and sustained a serious head injury that proved fatal. Despite the fact that the man was not a U.S. citizen or residing permanently in the United States at the time of the incident, Miraldi and Barrett was able to make a recovery for his family, all of whom except one daughter lived overseas and were not U.S. citizens.
