Defective heater in travel trailer -- million dollar settlement
Two men took a travel trailer on a late fall hunting trip out of state. The night they arrived they started the furnace and went to sleep. The next morning one of the men was found dead and the other unconscious. Investigation revealed that “critters” had built nests in the exhaust system of the furnace which resulted in deadly and odorless carbon monoxide entering the trailer.
