Eye socket fracture - $325,000 settlement

A 58 year old North Ridgeville, Ohio woman sustained fractures to the bones around her eye. Miraldi and Barrett hired a medical artist to show the surgeries and plates that were placed in her face.  The artist used the x-ray as the basis for the exhibits and then placed transparencies over the x-rays to show the various surgeries and corrective measures. With these medical illustrations showing the injury, Miraldi and Barrett obtained a settlement without filing the lawsuit.
